The round trip Hardanger in a nutshell takes you through beautiful scenery with views of majestic mountains, roaring waterfalls and idyllic orchards. The 179 km long Hardangerfjord provides natural landscapes that are spellbinding to even the most well-traveled tourist. Here you will find cultural and natural pearls side by side.

The tour lasts about 10 hours and starts at the train station in Bergen with the scenic Bergen Railway from Bergen to Voss. Bergen Railway is the highest altitude railway in Northern Europe, and around 100 kilometers of the line run through wild mountain terrain.

From Voss, the trip continues by bus to the beautiful village of Ulvik. If you are lucky enough to be here in May, you can enjoy the fantastic fruit blossoming.
From Ulvik, the tour continues with a short boat ride to Eidfjord. Along the fjord, you will see small mountain farms clinging to steep slopes.

In Eidfjord the tour continues by bus up Måbødalen to Fossli Hotel and the mighty Vøringsfoss, the largest waterfall in Norway. From the hotel you get a good view of the water fall. You can also visit the Hardangervidda Nature Centre. Entrance to the center is included. Here are exhibitions on three floors, aquarium and interactive stations. You can also see the magnificent panorama movie by Ivo Caprino showing on 5 large screens.

From Eidfjord the tour continues with a lovely boat trip to Norheimsund, where a bus is waiting to take you back to Bergen.

There is no guide on the trip, but it is well marked and easy to follow.

Conditions:

Tours can be changed or canceled up to 10 days before departure free of charge. For changes and cancellations later than 10 days before departure, there is no refund. This also applies if you book less than 10 days before the start date of the trip. If you want to change the number of travelers on your booking, you must contact us to cancel the entire booking. It must be re-booked for the remaining travelers. If a route is fully booked, we do not normally take the chance to cancel and lose reserved seat reservations for the rest of the party. Please consider this before thinking about reducing the number of people in your order. All changes require available capacity. Any price increases are borne by the customer.
