To get to the cabin, please take bus 450 from the city centre and come to enjoy your hiking adventure and a delicious lunch at Polar Cabin. We will be waiting for you at the bus stop "Sør-Vågnes Snuplass" to guide you on the hike.
We will explore the beautiful birch forest and hike a steeper slope with spectacular views of the fjords and surrounding mountains (approx. 2-2,5 hours hiking). The Polar Cabin, which you can enjoy after hiking, is comfortable, cozy and warm. You will be served a hot lunch (local bacalao, tea, coffee, dessert) and can relax.
After lunch we guide you to the bus stop where you will take the bus back to the city.
We are focused on the quality of the activities and we offer good food, adventure, information and service. If it will be very bad weather, tour can be cancelled.

Please bring: good walking shoes and suitable clothing.

Departure time and place: take bus number 450 direction Oldervik. The bus departs from Tromsø Havn Prostneset (port terminal) at 11:40am (11:40). Go off the bus at the bus stop "Sør-Vågnes Snuplass", arrival approx. 12:20pm (12:20). We will meet you there and guide you up the hill to Polar Cabin.
Return with the bus from "Sør-Vågnes Snuplass" at 4:18pm (16:18), arrival Tromsø city centre 4:55pm (16:55).
Tickets for the bus can be purchased by the mobile APP Troms Mobillett, or at Troms Fylkestrafikk's salespoint. You can also buy the ticket on board the bus with cash payment only. Ticket price is NOK 75,- per person each direction.
