Mad Goats

Mad Goats offer kayak tours down the Akerselva River, as well as courses on the Oslo Fjord. The tours are suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. They also offer kayaking license courses (våttkort introkurs), which are necessary for being able to paddle on the Oslo Fjord.

Guided Paddle Tours on Akerselva River
The tour is offered for groups all season long and can be booked for private events at request. You can choose whether you want to be stand-up paddling or in a kayak.
The tour starts at Mathallen in the Vulkan neighbourhood, goes through the heart of the city, through a 500m-long tunnel that ends right next to the Opera House. After some time exploring the waters around the Opera, the tour ends there after 1.5 hours.

Sea Kayak Tours
Mad Goats offers various kayaking tours on the Oslo fjord.​​​​​ Experience stunning Oslo island Hovedøya or Gressholmen or become an urban explorer with the city tour. Starting points are the centrally located Bjørvika or Lysaker. The tours last between two and four hours.

Sea Kayak Våttkort Courses
Mad Goats runs 3hr sea kayaking våttkort introduction courses (havkajakk våttkort introkurs) and 2-day basic courses. All gear is provided.

Private Tours
Mad Goats also offer customisable kayak experiences for bachelor parties, teambuilding, birthdays etc. Ask them to combine your kayaking with their Tjuvholmen Sauna.
