Reindeer Camp Dinner with Chance of Northern Lights

Overview

This tour is conducted by Tromsø Arctic Reindeer. This is an experience to feed the reindeer in the nighttime and have a traditional Sami dinner with the Sami Reindeer herders, and maybe see the Northern Lights.

During dinner, the reindeer herders will tell you about their culture and their beliefs and also explain more about the importance of the Northern lights to them. A three-course meal is included in the experience.
If you are lucky and the sky is clear you will have a good chance to see the northern lights above the reindeer camp.

This is an experience to feed the reindeer in the nighttime, have a traditional Sami dinner with the Sami reindeer herders while they tell you about their culture and their beliefs and also explain more about the importance of the Northern lights to them.

The itinerary will be:
6pm Pick up from Radisson Blu Hotel (Tromsø city centre)
A 25 min drive to Reindeer Camp
6.30pm: Arrive at Reindeer Camp and feeding of wild reindeer and walk around the reindeer camp
7.15pm Guests will gather at the main lavvu
7.30pm to 9pm Sami traditional three-course dinner will be served
Guests will have the opportunity to be outside and try and catch the northern lights.
Bus ride back to the city centre around 10.30pm.
