The Funny Farm - Open farm, Hobøl

At The Funny farm visitor farm you can greet many beautiful animals. The farm is called The Funny Farm because you should have fun when you visit the farm. Besides, Pernille and Pål, who own the farm, are also quite funny. The Funny Farm is located in Hobøl about 40 minutes drive from Oslo.

At The Funny Farm, they put animal welfare at the top. Therefore, most animals go loose among people with large areas to frolic on. The animals are trusting and cuddly and like close contact with humans. Many of the animals are very tame. Here you can meet cute and tame mini pigs, chickens, rabbits, Peking ducks, cats, a clever dwarf horse, beautiful peacocks, cute goats, social dogs and stately horses you can enjoy. If you wish, you can borrow a canoe and explore the Hobøl River, as the Dahl Brothers did. Or you can take a round with "The Funny Ride" a small tractor with a cart that takes the kids on a ride in the yard. Both canoe rental and tractor driving are included in the price.

On the farm you will also find an awesome diner. The couple who own Karlstad farm are themselves inspired by the 50s and 60s, so they have built a real American diner - which is contemporary furnished. At The Funny Café you can get a real bite to eat. Everything is homemade.

The Funny Farm has an open yard every weekend. Open from March to mid-December, from 11:00 to 16:00. Closed in January and February. In these times, only advance ticket sales apply.
