IFMGA-certified mountain guides from Ascent Descent have many years’ experience guiding in the Lyngen Alps and the surrounding region. Ascent Descent provides customized guiding for ski touring of all levels, from easy trips through to advanced summit to sea adventures in the Lyngen Alps.

We have more than 10 years’ experience guiding in the Lyngen Alps and the mountains surrounding the Lyngenfjord. Are you travelling alone or together with friends? That is no problem. We offer guiding for individuals and groups. Safety is always our top priority. We arrange adventures to suit your wishes, skills and ski touring experience.

When you have booked a trip with us, we will contact you a few days in advance to discuss possible trips based on your skills and the prevailing snow and weather conditions. We will also agree a meeting point and time. Before we set off, we will go through the safety gear and discuss/go through the choice of route for the trip.

Duration: depends on the chosen trip – day trip
Price: from NOK 5,000 per day, depending on the size of the group
Number of participants per guide: max. 6 (on demanding trips: max. 4)

Remember to bring: your own ski gear, avalanche transceiver, snow shovel and probe, packed lunch and suitable clothing

Transport to/from the starting point is possible on request.
