Tronvik beach

Tronvik Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Moss.

The beach is located on the west side of Jeløya with a child-friendly sandy beach. The bay itself faces the north. The beach has the blue flag award. Toilets are available in the boat association Sjekta´s house.

Tronvik Beach will receive additional supervision in the season and will be cleaned on a daily. basis The toilets adjacent to the beaches are daily supervised and eco-labeled products are used. During the season, water samples are taken to check bacterial content. On the beaches there are bicycle racks, recycling station and lifesaving rings. There is a simple first aid kit at the Sjekta clubhouse.

What is "Blue Flag"?
Blue Flag is an environmental certification scheme for marinas and beaches. Internationally, Blue Flag is appreciated by tourists and tour operators. The certification scheme places very stringent requirements in security and service, environmental management, water quality, information and training. For the guests, the blue flag means that they can be safe on the beach or the marina has clean water, clean surroundings, adequate toilets that are cleaned regularly. And there will be facilities for disabled, established safety rules, codes of conduct, information about vulnerable nearby natural areas / ecosystems and offerings for environmental activities for beach / marine users. In addition, there is a requirement for environmental management.
